Kogi LG Elections: PDP Wins 21 Chairmanship, 225 Councillorship Seats

The PDP has won all the 21 chairmanship positions in the Local Government council elections conducted in Kogi State on Saturday.

NAN reports that the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), however, snatched 10 councillorship positions in five local governments areas. In the results declared on Sunday, ACN got three councillorship positions in Mopa-Muro, two each in Ibaji and Yagba-East and one each in Kabba Bunu and Yagba-West.

The Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) also clinched four councillorship positions in Yagba-West, bringing to 14 the total number of wards won by the opposition parties.
