Job Title: IT Instructor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

•   Instructor would be involved in the training of Advanced ICT Courses.

•   Teaching all areas of curriculum presented;

•   Taking responsibility for the progress of the class

•   Organizing the lecture room and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment;

•   Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class;

•   Motivating students with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;

•   maintaining discipline;

•   Maintaining a balanced Student – Instructor relationship;

•   Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive student development;

•   Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of students' development;

•   Providing feedback to Supervising Head on the progress of students;

•   Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialized area;

•   Working with others to plan and coordinate work;

•   Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum;

QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS:

•   Minimum of HND

•   1-3 years working experience

•   Must have good communication and interpersonal skills

•   Adequate Experience in one or more of this areas:

•   Java, PHP, CCNA, A+, Oracle, MySQL, SPSS, Peach Tree, CorelDraw, Photoshop,

•   DreamWeaver, Revit Structure, Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, Maya, Math lab, Kaledo, My Label 3D Fashion.

•   Certification in one or more of these areas would be an added advantage.

•   Demonstrate dependability and self-motivation.

•   Able to communicate clearly in English.

•   Maintain high level of personal integrity and reliability
