Bashir Yuguda 2                        As part of its mandate of providing critical road infrastructure across the country, the Federal Ministry of Works has assured Nigerians of pleasant and hitch-free motoring.

This was disclosed by the Minister of State of Works, Amb. Bashir Yuguda, when he commissioned the newly constructed access road to the Kaduna Refinery, Kaduna, Kaduna State.

The Minister stated that provision of good roads is one of the priorities of Mr. President's Transformation Agenda, as he gives much concern and attention to the provision of roads in Nigeria. He added that access roads to all Nigerian Refineries are necessary in order to decongest the cities where the refineries are sited.

He described the commissioned Kaduna Refinery Access Road as a demonstration of the Federal Government's commitment towards decongesting such cities.

Amb. Yuguda disclosd that the access road is connected to the Eastern Kaduna Bye-pass aimed at decongesting the metropolis, as tankers loading fuel from the refinery have no business going through the city centre.

Amb. Yuguda, who was accompanied by officials of the Ministry, said that the Federal Government under the able and dynamic leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan is resolute in upgrading Nigerian roads to international standards.

He also called on stakeholders to collaborate with the Ministry in achieving the good goals of the Federal Government in improving the living standards of Nigerians.
