Donovan named to preliminary USA Gold Cup roster

Landon Donovan, who last represented his country in August when USA beat Mexico 1-0 at the Estadio Azteca and has since been left off the squad by Jurgen Klinsmann, has been named in the preliminary CONCACAF Gold Cup roster.

Donovan was a fantastic player for USA at a time but I can't really say about now. He played very well for them.
