Role Summary/Purpose:   
As a key member of the Sub-Saharan Africa Human Resources team and reporting into the Senior Human Resources Leader for GE Africa, you will provide strategic leadership and expertise for the full scope of the Human Resources (HR) function for Western Africa including Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, etc. for the entire GE portfolio. Aligned with our strategic localization plans, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Essential Responsibilities:   
-Providing HR leadership, coaching and generalist support.
-Driving strategic and operational level HR-related planning including Labor Relations, Recruiting & Staffing, Session C, Compensation & Benefits, Leadership Coaching, Employee Development and Performance Management.
-Leading/Initiating new and innovative global HR practices to create a strong culture of leadership and high performing teams.

Qualifications/Requirements:   
-Nigerian Citizenship or ability to live and work in Nigeria without restriction.
-Degree qualified in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other HR-related disciplines.
-Minimum 7 years HR Generalist experience in the region, ideally HR leadership in a multinational environment.

Desired Characteristics:   
-Master's degree in Business Administration or a Human Resources related field.
-Fluency in French strongly preferred
-HR leadership in a start-up/entrepreneurial environment
-Labor Relations experience
