Gov. Orji vows to sustain PDP in Abia.

                        The Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji has restated that with the legacy projects his administration is prosecuting and the super structures that are going on in the State, it will be difficult for any other political party to come to power in the State.

While speaking when the PDP members in the State trouped out in their numbers on their "democracy walk" to commemorate the "democracy day" in Umuahia, Orji cautioned the party members to beware of those who are trying to sneak into the party to destroy it.

Orji said that the party is free to admit more members, but that they are not going to allow those who are coming in, to destroy the great party either through the front door or through the back door, as doing so will damage the party.

The Governor explained that his administration has been able to change the face of governance in the State from government of one family to government of the people by the people and for the people, "We have moved from mamacracy to true democracy".

He said that he has laid a solid foundation for the State, "So that another PDP Governor that will be coming after me will have less work to do, other than to take care of the welfare of the people and improve on the much I have done so that our State will be like other developed States".

Orji praised the other two arms of government for their support for his administration saying, "They have done well; the legislative arm has enacted good laws for the State, while the judiciary, which is not under our control has done well also, in their own way".

Earlier in his speech, the state chairman of PDP, Sen. Emma Nwaka said that they have come to lend their support to the Governor for the good works he has been doing since his second term as their party member, as he has turned around the fortunes of the State in the right direct and made other political parties in the state to go into oblivion.

He assured the Governor that what they did in 2011, will be a child's play to what they will do in 2015, stressing that they could not have achieved such feat without the quality leadership the Governor gave to the party in 2011.
