Job Summary: The Analyst, Procurement will assist in coordinating procurement matters for the Commission and as guided by the Head Procurement Unit. The job holder will report to the Head Procurement Unit

Key Responsibilities:

This person assists in:

1.   Developing and maintaining a preferred supplier database

2.   Developing and maintaining a reporting system for contractor and supplier performance;

3.   Managing the recordkeeping requirements of the tender and contracting processes

4.   Facilitating expenditure reviews to identify opportunities to add value through improved procurement

5.   Establishing and maintaining a Contact Register

Person Specification:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

1.   Able to pay attention to detail

2.   Must be disciplined, ethical and possess a high level of integrity

3.   Excellent organisation skills

4.   Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

5.   Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing Mathematics, Statistics, or any field of Engineering

Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-graduation experience
