The Western Delta University (WDU), Ogahra, Delta State, Nigeria, is a private University approved by the Federal Government on the 17th May, 2007. Nigeria, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Degree Programmes of the University for the 2013/2014 Academic Session.

Intending students of Western Delta University are those that have applied and written the 2013/2014 UTME Examination and scored the National minimum cut-off mark. Direct Entry candidates are also invited to apply.

Candidates who chose this University as First and Second choice and those who did not choose the University are expected to purchase the Admission Forms as directed below:

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The minimum entry requirements for admission into Western Delta University are GCE O/Level, SSCE, NECO or NABTEB credit level passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and one relevant science or social science subject obtained at not more than two sittings. Candidates are also to note that there are other requirements that may be specific to a college and/or a department.

Direct Entry Requirements:
Direct Entry candidates are expected to possess a good Diploma (with minimum of lower credit), NCE (with minimum of merit) from recognized institutions OR 2 Advanced Level GCE passes in relevant subjects.

METHODS OF OBTAINING FORMS

a. Interested candidates are to pay N8,500.00 (Eight thousand, five hundred Naira only) at any branch of the underlisted Banks nationwide:
i. ECOBANK Plc: 4742000879

iii. UBA Plc: 1010320595   
       
b. Scan a copy of the payment teller, and send it with your mobile phone number to admissions@wdu.edu.ng
c. An email and text containing a Serial No and PIN will be sent immediately to you.
d. Thereafter, visit
   Western Delta University, Oghara
to login with the Serial No and PIN received from WDU
e. Fill the Application Form and submit online.
f. After submission, you are required to print the Acknowledgement Slip and come with it to the Screening Centre in the University.

a. Application Forms are always available at the Admission Office, Western Delta University, Oghara, Delta State.
b. Application Forms will also be available for sale on the day of screening at the Screening Centres.

Note: Evidence of payment should be brought to the venue of the Screening Exercise.

SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED FORMS

Completed application forms, accompanied with copies of either the University's receipts or Bank Tellers should be sent to the Registrar, Western Delta University.

Screening interview will hold on Saturday 20th July, 2013.
