Job Title: Senior Manager, Enforcement

Job summary: The Senior Manager, Enforcement will be responsible for coordinating Enforcement activities of the Unit. The job holder will report to the Deputy General Manager ADR/Enforcement.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   In collaboration with the DGM ADR/Enforcement, develops enforcement paths and strategies for the Unit/Division/Commission

2.   Co-ordinates all monitoring and compliance activities with the other Divisions for deliberation by the Enforcement Team of the Commission

3.   Collates all the Rulings, Orders, directives issued by the Commission, as well as monitors the level of compliance

4.   Monitors the milestones of compliance by regulated entities of the Commission's Orders

5.   Reports the level of compliance or non-compliance of Licensee to the Enforcement Team at the weekly Team meeting

6.   Monitors and processes cases for imposition of fines and penalties in accordance with the provisions of the law

7.   Organises weekly Enforcement Team Strategy meetings comprising Monitoring Officers from the other Divisions in the Commission

8.   Prepares weekly reports on enforcement activities of the Unit

Required Knowledge and Skills:

5.   Good understanding of enforcement processes in a regulatory environment

6.   Adept at using the computer, especially Microsoft Office suite

7.   Excellent interpersonal skills

8.   Negotiating skills and the ability to give opinions and defend them

9.   Must possess stamina, energy, drive and resilience

Educational / Professional Qualification(s):

1.   Must possess a Law degree and be called to the Nigerian Bar

2.   Must possess a post graduate degree is also required

Work Experience:

1.   At least 12 years post-call experience

2.   Cognate experience in enforcement in a regulatory environment will be preferred
