Eagles were unlucky against Spain Super Eagles goalkeepers' trainer, Ike Shorunmu, says Vincent Enyeama has truly proved that he is the best the country can proud of at the moment following his commanding performance at the ongoing 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.

The Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel goalkeeper who was spectacular against Spain on Sunday earned the soccer tactician's praises after he worked really hard to ensure that the team did not concede more than three goals in the encounter; though Nigeria lost 3-0 in the match to crash out from the pre-World Cup tournament holding in Brazil.

"We just have to praise Enyeama for his spectacular performance in this tournament; he has really proved that he is truly Nigeria's number one goalkeeper. I knew what he could do and I am not in any way disappointed in him despite the goals he conceded in the tournament. But we will continue to encourage him because he still has a lot to offer," he declared.

Shorunmu who spoke with Complete Sports before departing Brazil yesterday, however believed that the players that represented Nigeria at the FIFA Confederations Cup gave their best but were not lucky enough to make it to the semi- final stage of the tournament
