Ex-Super Eagles striker, Richard Owubokiri, has declared that he was impressed with the performance of the Super Eagles at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil despite the team's inability to make it to the semi- final stage of the tournament.

Speaking to Complete Sports via a social network, the 51- year old who was part of the Super Eagles squad that represented Nigeria at the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations says the Nigerian players were loved by the Brazilians who appreciate good football, just as he believed that the future is bright for the African champions who could only win one match in the tournament.
