Position Description: It is a B2B Value Added Services player providing niche and differentiated offerings to help clients towards consistent high performance, revenue optimization, enhanced end-user experience and growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•   University Degree (B.sc.)

•   Experience  2-4 yrs

•   Web Development Tools: Any of PHP , ASP.Net, JSP/Servlets

•   Programing Skills: Experience in any of C#, J2EE, J2ME, SOAP, XML Manipulations

•   Database Knowledge: MS-SQL Server 2000, MySQL, or Oracle

•   O/S: Windows, an intermediate knowledge of Unix/Linux will be an added advantage.

•   App Development: Skills in SOA Architecture, Software Testing and Mobile Apps Development (J2ME, HTML5, Android, Blackberry, iOS) will be an added advantage.

OTHERS: Traceable experience in Project Management is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Managing SMS/USSD Gateway platforms for optimum performance

•Proactive generation of useful reports from gateway logs and trace files

•Creation of services and menu structures for USSD/SMS Services

•Updating, maintaining & enhancing USSD, SMS based solutions

•To work with USSD Aggregators, Mobile Applications providers to ensure smooth running of Mobile Application Channels

•To keep abreast of technologies around other channels and contribute to channel strategy for existing services around Mobile Payment.

•Liaising extensively with external or internal clients

•Analysing existing solution platforms;

•Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability;

•Drawing up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems;

•Working closely with developers (internal and external vendor) and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;

•ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met;

•drawing up a testing schedule for the complete system;

•overseeing the implementation of a new system;

•planning and working flexibly to a deadline;

•Writing technical documents such as user manuals, functional specification documents;

•Providing training to users of a new system;

•Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments.
