Let’s Run An Issue Based Campaign- Metuh Tells PDP

AHEAD of the Special National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the immediate past National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh has challenged all his opponents to run what he termed an issue based campaign.

Metuh who noted that he was in the race for re-election as the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, said that he was determined to contest fairly and to run a free campaign devoid of rancour.

In a statement by the Director General Olisa Metuh Campaign Organization, Chief Okey Ezenwa, the group said that it has uncovered heinous plots by sponsored agents of the opposition to obtain spurious court orders questioning the eligibility of Chief Olisa Metuh to seek re-election into the office of National Publicity Secretary.

He said, " We are ready for a free and fair contest and we challenge other aspirants to the position to run an issue based campaign and allow delegates to the special national convention of our great party to make an informed choice.
