Job Title: Senior Logistics Advisor

The Senior Logistics Advisor HIV/AIDS (Lagos) will provide hands-on strategic guidance to the HIV/AIDS supply chain unification technical assistance to the State Ministry of Health (SMOH) in assigned states, PEPFAR implementingpartners, Global Fund-supported partners, health facilities and other stake holders in defined locations as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Provide supply chain technical leadership in the implementation of the HIV/AIDS supply chain unification project in the selected states

•   Liaise with state ministry of health leadership in the selected states to provide supply chain capacity building activities to relevant officials in the state.

•   Work with the state ministry of health to develop a support plan that will enable the appropriate government structure within the state to take ownership of managing part of the supply chain activities in the state.

Minimum Skills and Qualification:

Applicants for this position should possess the following minimum skills and qualification:

•   A Master's degree in Pharmacy, Public Health, Laboratory Science, Logistics Management or Business Administration

•   Seven to ten years of professional experience in healthprograms, preferably in an international health care supply chain management environment.

•   Previous experience managing health supply chain contracts with third party service, providers in warehousing and/or transportation is strongly desired.
