‘Kawonise biting fingers that fed him’

The Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday tackled the immediate past Commissioner for Information in the state, Mr. Sina Kawonise, over his declaration that the party had "died" in the state.

The PDP said contrary to Kawonise's declaration, the party "is alive, well and raring to go."

The Ogun PDP accused the former commissioner of biting the finger that fed him by describing the party as dead.

The party, in a statement by its State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Waliu Oladipupo, said, "It's preposterous and utterly immoral for Kawonise and his pay masters to speak ill of the very platform that brought them to political limelight."

The PDP added that much as it knew that Kawonise had been "consumed by an inordinate ambition to govern Ogun State, he should concentrate on shedding off the political deficit that has been his lot and that of his master, rather than seeking cheap publicity by raising non-issues."
