GRID Consulting is a leading Nigerian Consulting firm with roots going back over a quarter of a century, working in Nigeria and the west African sub-region, with a diverse range of clients that includes international development agencies, governments, private sector institutions and civil society organisations. We currently manage and provide technical expertise to a number of on-going development programmes in Nigeria, Ghana and South Sudan. With continued increase in demand for our services and particularly for our provision of support within the International Development Sector, GRID Consulting is seeking to engage more consultants both on a full-time and a part-time basis.

Our Programme Support Group (PSG) is looking to talk to professionals who have the expertise to work on long-term or short-term assignments on some of these donor-funded programmes. The specific fields of expertise which we are looking to cover include financial management; grant management organizational assessments, organization performance and development, as well as systems strengthening, governance and accountability. Identified consulting experts will eventually work with our PSG in advisory and consulting roles in their specialized areas, providing assistance to our development partners.

GRID is therefore seeking for Expression of Interests from experienced consultants and advisors in the following broad areas:

Public Sector Reform:

Our Offerings within Public Sector Reform include:

•    Governance (High level engagement and Institutional Capacity Building)

•    Public Finance Management

•    Budget Process Management

•    Budget Execution & Financial Planning

•    Financial Reporting de Lagos State.

Project Financial Management:

Our Offerings in Project Financial Management include:

•    Financial Management System design

•    Grants Management

•    Programme Funds Management

•    Compliance Review & Audits

•    Financial Management Systems Review and Strengthening

Organisational Assessment:

Our Organisational Assessment offerings include:

•    Human Resource Information System

•    Workforce Planning & Performance Management

•    Organization System Review

•    Organisational Development and Change

•    Institutional Strengthening

Main Duties include:

•   Consultants and Advisors of the Programme Support Group will be responsible for driving a proactive agenda that supports at least ONE of the offerings of the broad areas we are involved in with senior management of the programmes.

•   In addition to that, they will work closely with key stakeholders in order to assure the delivery of an effective and well-coordinated solution that is consistent with our policies and the roles we play within the programmes.

•   PSG members will attend and participate in programme planning meetings and support the implementation of initiatives in specific work streams within their area of specialty.

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

•   Interested persons must have at least 7 years practical experience and proven track record with applicable knowledge in at least ONE of the listed offerings under the broad technical areas.

•   Ability to turn policy objectives into actionable, implementable plans and ideas is required for the job.

•   Strong communication skills (demonstrably high levels of writing ability), as well as excellent people management skills, with the sensitivity and understanding of sociopolitical nuances is mandatory in these roles.

•   Practical experience in managing relationships with stakeholders, particularly at varying levels of Government is also required.
