Yobo Is Still In My Plans - Stephen Keshi

Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi (CFR) has debunked reports in some national sports papers (not Complete Sports) that he has permanently shut the Eagles door on Fenerbahce of Turkey defender,Joseph Yobo.

Instead,Keshi is insisting that Yobo will sooner than later be back in the squad.

Keshi,according to Super Eagles media officer,Benjamin Muyiwa Alaiya says he did not speak to any media organisation in Abidjan regarding the return to the national team or otherwise of Yobo.

'Yobo is like a younger brother to me and I want the best for him but there seems to be a desperate bid to create a war between me and my captain and I will always reject that because he remains one of Nigeria's big football players and we cannot rush him out just like that'', Keshi was quoted as saying.

The Eagles boss further declared that he has been misquoted on issues regarding his relationship with the NFF.

''When I speak about the NFF, it is convenient for people to misquote me,to create crisi s between me and my employers but I have never had any problem with them and they have said so'', he said.
