The Super Eagles are planning to record a huge victory margin against Ethiopia in an African Nations Cup qualifier holding today in Addis Ababa.

Coach Samson Siasia told our correspondent exclusively that the approach adopted against Argentina on Wednesday was a test run of what to do in Addis Ababa.

He stressed that since the match was a must win for the team, it was important to score goals and win well.

Siasia said, "We are ready in all areas and my joy is that what we tried against Argentina worked and we are going to do something similar to get a massive result on Sunday.

"Nothing is impossible in football and the Ethiopians are playing at home but we are going to be very ready to get a good result.

"We are still building the team but we are very ready to achieve results as we move on.

"The team is gradually taking shape even though it is obvious we have a lot of work to do."

Skipper Joseph Yobo said it would be a tough encounter but the Ethiopians would not stop Nigeria.

Yobo said, "The team is on the rise; we have everything to play for and so all we want to do is to get the three points.

"We are going all out to punish them into submission on their soil. We can do it."

Mikel Obi said Nigeria had a better team than Ethiopia and that all the players were in good shape for the match.

"The season just finished and we are all in very great shape for the game. The victory over Argentina was a big boost also for the team. I believe are going to win and win well too."

Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama is also very optimistic. He said the players have been very united in camp with a resolve to deal with Ethiopia.

"We want to avoid putting ourselves in difficult position for qualification and the way to achieve that is to win all games especially the away games.

"It will be tough but we are ready to beat them on their soil. We are all in top shape ready for this match. I believe the Ethiopians cannot stop us"
