Job Title: Senior Consultant – Data Quality Assessment Training

Location: Nigeria

Organisation: The Mitchell Group

TMG is seeking a senior consultant to lead a Data Quality Assessment (DQA) training workshop for monitoring and evaluation professionals from USAID/Nigeria and its implementing partners. The assignment, scheduled to occur in September 2013, will include updating of existing training materials and conduct of a 4.5 day workshop in Abuja, Nigeria. Co-training support will be provided by technical staff from USAID's Monitoring and Evaluation Management Services (MEMS) project, implemented by TMG.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

•    A post graduate degree in social sciences or related field.

•    At least 15 years professional experience in the field of performance monitoring including 5 years in USAID funded project.

•    Knowledge of USAID's DQA policies and procedures and field experience in implementation of Data Quality Assessments.

•    Ability to facilitate using adult learning methodologies

•    Experience in developing training modules and learning materials

•    Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills in English

•    Ability to establish and meet concrete timelines for completing assignments

•    Experience working in sub-Saharan Africa, and Nigeria in particular, desired.
