Warri Wolves coach, Solomon Ogbeide has said his side's 0-1 defeat at Nembe City on matchday 26 of the Glo Premier League will count as nothing in Wednesday's Federation Cup semifinal clash against Akwa United in Bauchi.

The defeat to the Seasiders leave Wolves on 39 points and a slight dent on their spirited fight to clinch the top spot on the league.

Ogbeide said the league defeat has become history as he is focused at coming up with game plan that will unsettle Akwa United in the grudge Federation Cup semifinal encounter on Wednesday in Bauchi.

"The league defeat at Nembe City won't count when we confront Akwa United in Wednesday's Federation Cup semifinal match in Bauchi.

"The Federation Cup is a different ball game. I've put behind me the league defeat as I have to take full attention on the game against Akwa United.

"The league defeat is history. It has ended, no amount of ruing will reverse the result. I have to sit down and work out a strategy that will undo Akwa United.
