Production Engineering Manager – upstream O&G – Permanent – Nigeria A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Production Engineering Manager to join a leading Oil and Gas exploration and production company based in Nigeria. As a Production Engineering Manager, your success and performance will be measured on incident free production operations in both planning, design and implementation of production optimisation projects and ability to exceed production projections and within budget.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

•    working with office based and field staff to implement production enhancement projects and initiatives

•    review plant process performance and identify plant optimisation improvements

•    identify solutions by analysing reservoir data to improve reservoir productivity

•    lead production planning efforts

•    manage production accounting  

Requirements:

•    Degree educated in mathematics, applied mathematics, chemical engineering, industrial engineering or related discipline

•    Minimum 10 years oilfield experience with 5 years experience at management level in production operations

•    Strong mathematical modelling, process modelling, production process evaluation, plant/process optimisation, process automation, and/or statistics skills

•    Proven ability to increase efficiency/ performance

•    In depth understanding of the latest production optimisation tools and industry software (e.g. Mbal, Petrel, Eclipse, Sapphir, PVT)
