Super Eagles forward, Sunday Mba has said his side will go for an outright victory against the Stallions of Burkina Faso.
.
Nigeria will host their West African foes in a build-up game for both sides ahead of Africa's two- leg match final World Cup playoff holding in October and November on Tuesday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
.
Mba, who sat out in the Eagles 2-0 win against the Flames of Malawi in the final group qualifying match on Saturday at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar said no encounter involving the Nigerian side is considered by the opponents as mere friendly game.
.
"Anybody coming to play us has it at the back of his mind that he is coming to play the African champions so whether it's a friendly or competitive game it doesn't change the coloration that the opponents want to win and perhaps recreate history.
.
"So we don't care whatever name the encounter is called all we're sure of is that we're going for the three points at stake. We're going for an outright win to further confirm our status as African champions.
.
"Burkina Faso are coming for a purpose perhaps to win and prove to doubters that the 0-1 loss at the 2013 Afcon final was a mistake.
.
"Of course, we won't allow that to happen rather we're going to stamp our superiority over them in the encounter.
.
"I scored against them in the 2013 Afcon final I pray to have the opportunity to repeat the feat," said the 2013 Afcon hero to supersport.com.
.
Asked whether the Super Eagles have preference for the final Africa's World Cup playoff the Enugu Rangers goal-poacher said his side have gone beyond the stage of choosing challengers but to prepare very well to clinch the final ticket for Nigeria.

Sunday Mba is a fantastic footballer in games mostly on Sundays but Nigerians trust in to do well in this one.
