Super Eagles should have kept a clean sheet against Bukina Faso - Efe Ambrose

Celtic of Scotland and Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose agrees that the team should have kept a clean sheet in their 4-1 victory against the Stallions of Burkina Faso at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Tuesday.

In a chat with Brila FM, Ambrose maintained that the wide margin of their victory is something to be happy about.

"We were supposed to have kept a clean sheet but sometimes when the goals come you cannot stop it but the most important thing is that we won with a wide margin"

Meanwhile, Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi says he's happy with what he got from the team that played against Burkina Faso but admitted that the Eagles still has a long way to go.

"I am happy with what I got because on Saturday against Malawi, there was a lot of fighting spirit, double marking, and aggression with the ball which has been lacking before were exhibited by the players and I wanted to see if they would repeat the same feat again so it went well and am happy about it but we still have a long way to go"

The team will now await their next opponent for the last round of qualifiers for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

This is very true because that goal was a very bad one. The defensive error was just too glaring for everyone to see. It's good we still won though!
