Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Role Objectives:

•   The primary role of the Regional Business Development Manager is to prospect for new customers through strategic marketing plans.

•   S/he is responsible for managing and growing existing business relationships.

•   S/he must plan persuasive approaches that will convince customers to purchase the product/ increase sales.

Qualification/Experience:

•   A first degree is essential, preferable in a marketing related course.

•   Masters is an added advantage.

•   Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in Marketing or Brand management.

Requirements:

The candidate should:

•   Have strong Brand Management knowledge and experience;

•   Experience creating, costing and implementing sales / marketing / advertising plans

•   Excellent Business Development and Relationship Management skills

•   Strong Negotiation and Presentation skills

•   Ability to work to targets / goals / deadlines

•   They should be outgoing, friendly and exceptional at building rapport.

•   Previous travel experience or evidence of ability to travel to the western economies/world / economies is an added advantage

•   Duties: The Business Development Manager will

•   Oversee all functions of Sales, Marketing & Brand management for the product;

•   Prospect for potential new customers and turns this into increased business

•   Develop Strategic Marketing plans and awareness for the product

•   Work as a trainer and deliver training programs

•   Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the sales team

•   Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales

•   Good I.T. Skills; especially Power point and Excel

Remuneration: Salary is between 600, 000 – 1.4 million depending on experience; plus commission
