Demba Ba Still On Arsenal Radar

Emirates January DEMBA BA could still make a move to Arsenal in January, according to the bookies. Ba was on the verge of joining the Gunners on transfer deadline day before the switch fell through.

The Chelsea striker was keen on leaving for the Emirates because he wanted first-team football.

And despite staying, the 28-year-old has played just THREE games since - and he hasn't scored a goal. It will disappoint the Senegal hitman, who had said:

"I wanted to play - and I want to play.

"I was ready to go there [Arsenal] but it didn't happen."

Bookmakers have installed Arsenal as the 4/1 favourites to sign Ba when the transfer window reopens.

Ba's old club Newcastle are also understood to be keen on bringing him back to St James' Park.

The Magpies have been priced up at 5/1 to snap him up.
