Ogun State - I INTEND TO BEQUEATH LASTING LEGACIES IN OGUN-AMOSUN

 Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has re-affirmed his determination to serve the people of the State with passion, dedication and love in order to leave behind legacies for which he would be remembered long after leaving office.     Governor Amosun made this disclosure today in his Oke Mosan office while swearing-in his new Chief of Staff, Prof. Ganiyu Olatunji Olatunde saying “living each day as the last would make one to work with all tenacity required to do the best in serving our people”     Speaking further, he said “You will be remembered for whatever you do, whether good or bad. Public office has its challenges but you have to go all out with hardwork and commitment to turn things around for the good of humanity. That is why I’m giving my best day-in-day out with love, commitment, dedication and passion to the service of Ogun State to leave enduring legacies behind”     Congratulating the new appointee, Senator Amosun noted that the pre-eminent status of the Gateway State must always be held in high esteem without dropping the ball, and charged him to settle down to work immediately and make his contributions to the “mission to rebuild” the State.     He assured Prof. Olatunde of the abundance of capable hands who are willing to give their all to the service of the people of the State and reminded him that the call to serve is not about benefits of office, but legacies to be left behind.     Speaking with newsmen afterwards, the new Chief of Staff pledged his readiness to contribute his quota to achieving the visions and goals of the present administration, adding that “I will co-operate with other members of the cabinet as a team”.     The 57 year old new Chief of Staff to Governor Amosun is a Professor of Entomology who was at various times the acting Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-chancellor of the Osun State University, Osogbo. He hails from Ikenne Local Government Area of the State.
