Sandvik Mining and Construction (PTY) LTD, a subsidiary of Sandvik, an engineering group in tooling, materials technology, mining and construction, is currently recruiting for the following position(s):

Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Nigeria

Purpose: Financial Accountant (Nigeria) reports directly to the Financial Manager – West Africa

Qualification and Experience:
•   Minimum HND in Accounting.
•   Part qualification of either ACCA or CA Nigeria would be preferred.
•   Must have at least three years post qualification experience

Key Duties:
•   General Ledger functions
•   Statutory payments and returns
•   Banking
•   Petty cash
•   Non-trading local accounts payable
•   Statutory reporting

Others: Any other that may be assigned by the Financial Manager

Special Requirements: Successful applicants would be required to work at SMC sites in Nigeria and other West African Countries.
