The Nigeria U17 lad whose two goals sank the Uruguay U17 team in the quarter final game of the FIFA U17 World Cup currently going on in Dubai, Taiwo Awoniyi, is injured.

Awoniyi scored a goal on each half to ensure safe passage to the semi finals for the Eaglets, but was holding his hamstrings as he was hauled off with only minutes left to play in the game.

It is still not clear if the injury will keep the lad out of the semi final game against Sweden.
