Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Employer: Philly and Mools Group

Job Objective:

Responsible for:

•   Sell and market Metro Taxi's products and services

•   Develop the Metro Taxi Brand and increase its visibility in the market through advertisements, strategic partnerships and sponsorship, acquiring of parks, etc.

•   Provide consistent and qualitative customer service to the customers

Roles and Responsibility:

•   Develop long and short term business goals, objectives and targets as part of the department's planning and budgeting process.

•   Ensure that business goals, objectives and targets are met on a timely basis.

•   Conduct extensive market research and intelligence gathering on customers and competitors.

•   Develop Marketable business idea that cut across all client segments and suits market demands.

•   Source for clients and generate leads for sales or partnerships

•   Work with supervisor to develop visitation /activity schedule/plans to facilitate realisation of the departmental targets.

•   Carry out regular customer visitation and manage customer relationship.

•   Prepare proposals to sell business ideas to potential or current clients/partners and carry out follow-up sales activities.

•   Proactively identify and report on potential revenue streams and new market opportunities

•   Proactively gather current customer data /information and regularly feed Control/call centre department with this information to update the customer database for reliability and accuracy.

•   Prepare reports of activities /projects.

•   Attend workshops, trade shows, seminars and other networking events to keep up to date on changes in the industry and to meet prospective clients and partners.

•   Prepare agreed activity and performance reports on a timely basis, for the attention of the supervisor.

•   % Ability to develop various ideas at the right time to respond to market needs and market trends

•   % Timeliness and accuracy of reports & proposals

•   % Timeliness in executing assigned tasks

•   % Relevance of research and intelligence reports

•   % working knowledge of company offerings/products

•   % Number of leads converted to sales

•   % of customer satisfaction reports generated over a time period(percentage of satisfied customers)

•   % increase in business and revenue (financial and business target attained)

•   Effectiveness of marketing, sales and operational strategies

•   Level of absenteeism

Experience:

•   At least 2 years' experience in a related industry or role. Qualifications

•   A good first degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Social Sciences with a minimum of 2nd class honors Upper Division, from a reputable university

Any other  additional  industry related post-academic qualifications
