Roles and responsibilities:

The following are the roles and responsibilities for this role but not limited to:

•   Ensure that the security operation runs strictly and accordingly to the security standards and policies of the company.

•   Initial registration, investigation and conclusion of incidents and/or accidents reported.

•   Manage and control outsourced security officers and employed security guards by the company in terms of planning, monitoring and proper implementation of all the company's Safety & Security procedures, investigation of incidents & accidents and ensure satisfactory service is provided to customers internally and externally.

•   Ensure all staff under your supervision are trained to deal with emergency situation and document cases with the company's HR team.

•   Knowledge of fire systems & equipment and incidents handling.

•   Communicate all irregularities or incidents immediately to his direct management.

•   Ensure all systems e.g. CCTV, DVR's monitors, access controls are in working order.

•   Ensure that access to the property, building and assets are properly controlled for visitors and employees.

•   Assist in pre-operational risk assessments on new sites and design risk mitigation measures.

•   Execute weekly HSE Inspections and quarterly HSE audits and document the same.

•   Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency.

•   Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.

•   Maintain HSE related Statistics.

•   Ensure all non-routine jobs, maintenance, work at height and high risk jobs are carried out only after obtaining valid work permit.

•   Scrutinize the work permit for any deficiency and notify the same to CCTV Controller to appoint security guard to monitor the work activities.

•   Supervise the regular inspection of fire-fighting, safety and emergency response equipment.

•   Ensure that operations employees and contractors receive HSE inductions.

•   Ensure that all incidents, near misses and accidents are reported on timely basis.

•   Promote positive safety culture amongst employees by effective health and safety programs like tool box talks, safety award schemes, campaigns etc.

•   Encourage all employees to report any unsafe acts, conditions, hazardous situations and participate in Health and safety matters and to make HSE Suggestions.

•   Ensure all employees maintain healthy and safe working conditions in their work area.

•   Monitor CCTV controllers in executing their HSE obligations.

•   Develop and maintain good working relationships with the related local authorities, e.g. civil defence and local police.

Skill set:

•   High school, college diploma or junior college is preferred.

•   Good Command of English.

•   MS Applications: (Word, Excel & Outlook).

•   IOSH training, first Aid Training and Certified fire-fighting training.

•   3 years experience as a Security Supervisor in reputable organization. A clear track record is preferable.
