Job Title: Sales Manager for Nigeria Branch

Job description:

•   The Sales Manager works towards individual sales targets. Manages the Sales Team and conduct business development activities in Nigeria with initiatives in neighboring countries

•   Support business development of office, including proposing the yearly forecast and developing relevant sales strategies, defining goals and targets of team members, conducting business to achieve sales and margin targets within budget limits.

•   Develop and lead Sales and After-Sales Teams by actively supporting the personal development of all team members and managing their performance towards their sales targets.

•   Develop the existing client network and maintain a client database of information including client needs, problems, business expectations, and their growth / contraction plans.

•   Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and help develop and managing any opportunities for further collaboration

•   Take ownership of the delivery cycle across all phases, including the inquiry, offer, order, transportation, clearing, delivery, commissioning, after-sales, and client feedback stages

Desired Skills and Experience:

Work experience:

•   Min 10  years in relevant industry and position

•   Significant sales experience, with relevant industry experience in construction, preferably the construction trading industry

•   Technical background is an advantage (civil / mechanical / electrical engineering)

Key competencies and skills required:

•   Strong business judgment, commercial-minded, sales mindset

•   Independent, self-initiator, pragmatic business builder

•   Aptitude to client relationship-building

•   Natural mentor and coach for team members

•   Good organizational and time management skills

•   Good communication and presentation skills

Academic background:

•   Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering or Business or Marketing

•   Exposure to business management courses recommended

Languages required:

•   Arabic and Minimum of B2 -Level proficiency in English is required
