Iran, Bosnia Win Crucial To Eagles 2nd Round Berth - Oduamadi

Super Eagles winger Nnamdi Oduamadi believes a win against Iran and World Cup debutants Bosnia-Herzegovina will seal a second round ticket for the Stephen Keshi led side in next year's Mundial in Brazil.

The Brescia winger who was excited at the fact that the Eagles will be facing perennial rivals Argentina in their last group game believes the African champions have the experience to qualify from group F.

"Now is the time to start preparation because winning our first two games in the group will be crucial to our qualification," Oduamadi began.

"We know much of Argentina, their players and the threats they pose so to an extent we could match them but in a situation where we don't know much about the teams we want to play, getting maximum points will be key," he added.

Oduamadi who has played 11 games in the Serie B also added: "I need to focus more on my club form and finishing well as we can in the league and hopefully the rewards will come with a World Cup place in May."

"It's a difficult draw sincerely but it's the World Cup if you want to get far, you've got to play the top nations. We wouldn't have asked for more with Edin Dzeko, Zvjezdan Misimovic and Miralem Pjanic from Bosnia and Argentina but we don't fear them!" he concluded.
