The crisis rocking the Labour Party, LP, in Ogun State has taken a new dimension as the executive members of LP in the state  have gone into hiding, claiming that  their lives are in danger.
.
The embattled members of the executive also. shunned the reconciliation meeting called by the governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun  Mimiko to reconcile them with the former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and his loyalists who have just joined the party.
.
The party state executive led by Olabode Simeon had expelled Gbenga Daniel for allegedly engaging  in anti-party activities.
.
To worsen the situation, the  party also. announced a serving member  of the House of Representatives, Abiodun Akinlade as its governorship candidate for the forthcoming 2015 general elections.
.
But in his reaction, Daniel described his purported suspension as inapplicable, saying, he  was still being persuaded and lobbied to join Labour Party in Ogun State and provide effective organisation/ leadership accordingly.
.
Daniel said this in a statement by former Steel miniter, Tunji Ishola, ex-governorship candidate of the Peoples Party of Nigeria, Gboyega Isiaka and former Information Commissioner, Sina Kawonise.
