Frankfurt Home Win Drought Continues

Eintracht Frankfurt were left still looking for a first home league win of the season after a 1-1 draw with Augsburg in the Bundesliga Friday.

Raul Bobadilla netted from close range for the visitors in the 33rd minute but Jan Rosenthal levelled for Frankfurt three minutes before halftime.

Frankfurt coach Armin Veh, in his 250th Bundesliga game, could thank keeper Kevin Trapp for rescuing a point when he parried an effort from Augsburg's Arkadiusz Milik who was through on goal five minutes from time.

Frankfurt have now drawn four and lost four of their eight home games to go into the winter break just outside the relegation zone. Augsburg, now unbeaten in four matches, are eighth.

Saturday's matches see second-placed Bayer Leverkusen at Werder Bremen, while third-placed Borussia Dortmund welcome Hertha Berlin. Champions Bayern Munich, seven points clear at the top, are playing the final of the World Club Cup against Raja Casablanca in Morocco.
