Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria

Employer: Power Generation Company

Basic Requirements:

•   Higher National Diploma (HND) or National Diploma (ND) in Mechanical Engineering / Power Plants / Process Technology

•   Good Understanding of HSE and track record

•   Supervisory capability to manage a small contract workforce

•   4 years of hands on experience in Rotary/Stationary maintenance, EDGs, line boxups, small pumps, lube oil systems, Fuel receiving stations, Small tanks, Fire hydrants

•   In case of ND – Min Experience should be 6 years

Additional Requirements:

•   Residents of Port Harcourt preferred

•   Basic IT skills, use of software relevant to each function

•   Practising Know how of Industrial Health Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements

•   Sound physical health fit for field based job

•   Clean personal background

This position will be based on a 6-9 month contract. The contract is subjected to renewal based on their performance and the management decision.

Remuneration: Attractive and commensurate with experience.
