Job Title: Business Support Principal – Industry Service Portfolio Management

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

•   The Global Service Portfolio management group is responsible to drive and manage Global Portfolio of services from the inception of ideas, through Service Creation, Delivery/Sales Enablement and GTM to provide a strategic and financially balanced offering to customers and internal stakeholders.

•   The group is at the heart of our Services transformation journey.

•   SPM governs the planning, development and rollout of SAP Services, based on the agreed global standards, tools and methods.

•   SPM ensure inclusion of all key stakeholders in the innovation process for the new service offerings in order to innovate the right service, optimize innovation costs and increase the quality of the services we provide

•   The Industry Service Portfolio Manager is accountable for the management of a specific program or portfolio of offerings across all global regions for a specific set of Industries.

•   Therefore, she/he needs to demonstrate in-depth expertise for selected Industries (Consumer Products and Service Industries).

•   She/he will have solid line reporting into a global team for their responsibilities.

•   This global role will be supported by regional/LOB counterparts, which are responsible for ensuring the success of the portfolio solution for a specific region.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

•   In-depth expertise for selected Industries (Consumer Products and Service Industries )

•   The Service Portfolio Managers span of control includes the entire portfolio lifecycle and as such they are responsible for the overall quality, completeness and success (including the ultimate financial success) of all offerings in their area.

•   Develop a comprehensive "offering roadmap" for specific business scenarios

•   Ensure compliance with governance standards articulate this business process point-of-view to the regional stakeholder community and Industry/Solution Hubs

•   Work in collaboration with Field Sales to position a designated portfolio internally and externally.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

•   Ideally holds Master's degree in related field (Business Administration, Science, Information Technology)

•   Soft skills to work in synergy with complex and large groups of stakeholders ( c-Level )

•   Good Business and processes expertise in the selected industries

•   Good software project-oriented background

•   Service Industry experience

•   Expertise in SAP Tools a plus and MS Office tools is a must

•   Strong process-orientation, organizational and convey complex subjects

•   Proven record of excellent performance

•   Excellent analytical and project management skills

•   Strong communication skills

•   Strong intercultural skills

•   Strong focus on collaboration

•   Ability to integrate and work within the larger

WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience is required.
