Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Lagos Mainland (Surulere), Nigeria  

Employer: Fast Foods Company

Job Description:

•   Audit the activities of the company to ensure processes and procedures are strictly adhered to.

•   Maintain comprehensive list of items in the company for the purpose of purchase audit and stock value.

Key Function:

•   Ensures that all fund disbursed are used for the purpose for which is meant for.

•   Ensures that goods supplied are checked against the request for accurate quantity, quality and specifications.

•   Open POS machines and ensure that they are in order for the days' operation.

•   Perform cash count and generate cash count report.

•   Check the DAILY PRODUCT CONTROL SHEET (DPCS) prepared by the SALES PERSONNEL.

•   Prepare GAIN & LOSS report from the DPCS checked.

•   Perform at intervals, cash evacuation of the machine tills and print out machine reading at the point of cash evacuation.(Print out only X-READING REPORT).

•   Verification of goods received into the store are registered into the goods received note (GRN).

•   Reconcile the EXPECTED CASH with the MACHINE READING to determine CASH SURPLUS or CASH SHORTAGE immediately after each cash evacuation.

•   Prepare CASH and PRODUCT Shortages DAILY UPDATE.

•   Carry out end of day transaction report i.e X-READING and Z-READING on PLU.

•   Carry out PRE-AUDIT of payment vouchers.

•   Reconcile SALES to CASH BOOK posting and BANK LODGEMENT.

•   Ensure all IOU's are correctly retired.

•   Ensures all materials issued are used for that purpose and report loss and damages.

•   Ensure stock/credit control i.e. Bin cards and other control books are properly managed in all department.

•   Review PETTY CASH BOOK and check PETTY CASH RE-IMBURSEMENT.

•   Verify closing stock of products at the sales point.

•   Generate performance analysis for products, drinks, ice cream and popcorn.

•   Responsible for weekly/monthly stock taking.

•   Ensures stock/value reportsare submitted to the management accordingly.

•   Audit sales report generated to ensure that sales matches with the products collected.

•   Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

•   A  good first degree in accounting

•   ACA will be an advantage

NB: All Candidate must reside in Surulere and environs such as Lawanson, Yaba, Ojuwelegba, Costain, Aguda, Itire, Orile, Kilo, Jibowu and Masha.
