ADSU VC Says Threat Letter Is Not From Boko Haram, Blames Fifth Columnist

The Adamawa State University ADSU Mubi,  Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Alkasum Abbah has denied that the alleged several threat letters sent to the school is actually from the Boko Haram sect.

The VC said he suspected foul play in the way the threat letters were being sent to the university, saying that from all indications the threat letters may not have emanated from Boko Haram but within the school premises.

He however said the school is working with different security agencies in order to ensure security of life and properties in the school.

Parents and guardians are urged to remain calm as the university's authority is on top of the situation.

The different measures being adopted by the authorities in ensuring adequate security includes providing ID cards to anyone that either works or do business in the university's premises and making sure all personnel cooperate with the security agents on site.
