The SSS (State Security Service) confirmed the arrest of Malam Nasir El-Rufai this morning by the  at the Abuja airport, while returning from a private visit to London. The decision was taken "following Mallam El-Rufai's recent articles in the cyber and print media which have been considered by well meaning Nigerians to be inciting, inflammatory and grossly misleading".
