Dangote reduces price of cement to N1,350 per bag

Dangote Cement Plc has announced a significant reduction in the price of its product to N1,350 per bag.

The Executive Director of sales and marketing of the company, Mr Ekanem Etim, announced the reduction to cement distributors in a meeting on Friday. He further said that, the reduction of price, was in line with the company's declared policy to make cement affordable to the Nigerian masses, as it expands its local capacity in the country.

The move was commended by a cement manufacturers.

Dangote Cement currently has presence in 14 different African countries, including Zambia, Tanzania, South Africa, Congo (Brazzaville), Ethiopia, Cameroun, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Ghana, Senegal.
