The Tony Elumelu Foundation is launching a flagship initiative to support entrepreneurs across Africa. The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) is designed to equip entrepreneurs to contribute meaningfully to Africa's economic prosperity and social development through sustainable productivity, economic growth, job creation and diversification across Africa.

Role Responsibilities: – Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements. – Manage the budget planning and budget management process and ensure that expenditures are consistently aligned with program budgets. – Review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate. – Set up and manage a system for wiring seed capital funds to 1,000 applicants across Africa. – Devise a system for finance reporting from the applicants. – System for payments to Mentors and Selection Board members. – Implement systems and procedures to

support effective program implementation and conduct robust audits. – Manage cash flow forecasting – Manage TEEP's Portfolio Management System. – Provide financial reporting and monitor financial performance. – Oversee all finance-related regulatory and compliance issues. – Liaise with the Endowment Management Team. – Provide regular status reports to the management team on finance and audit-related activities. – Oversee technology, admin and operations, including vendor management.

Personal Requirements: – Minimum of ten (10) years working experience in Accounting and Finance positions, preferably within financial services. – ACCA, ICAN or equivalent qualification. – An advanced degree in Finance or an MBA. – Advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software (e.g. SAP or Oracle Financials). – Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, MS Project, Word and PowerPoint. – Vast experience in coordinating budget development, budget analysis and audit activities. – Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers. – A strategic thinker and self-starter. – Excellent reputation for integrity and judgement. – Analytical, organization and problem solving skills. – Strong Interpersonal and Relationship – Management Skills.
