Essential Responsibilities:
•   Maintain and develop relationships with the Finance Team and the legal entity in Nigeria.
•   Reviewing statutory financial statements for the Nigerian centre and other concerned businesses.
•   Involvement in financial projects e.g. acquisitions, transition disposals, cleaning backlogs
•   Assist GE entities with accounting related issues
•   Perform accounting services for several GE holding entities in Nigeria.
•   Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and legal advisors
•   Linking pin in statutory preparation/audit process
•   Correspond with national and international GE businesses
•   Qualifications/Requirements Local GAAP experience/knowledge, preferably combined with US GAAP and IFRS knowledge
•   Understanding of audit process.
•   Able to discuss with auditors and tax advisors
•   CPA/CA/ACCA qualification
•   Degree in Business Economics/Auditing or similar
•   Good IT skills
•   Fluent in English
•   Working experience 3-5+ years
•   Flexible and energetic person, hands on mentality
•   Demonstrated communication (oral & written) skills Strong inclination towards quality process improvement
•   International experience in multinational and/or Big 4 firm strong advantage
•   Desired Characteristics Experience in a multinational environment
