Niger State Schools To Resume October Due To Eid-el Kabir

The Niger State government has postponed the resumption date for all schools in the state till October due to the upcoming Eid-el Kabir Muslim festival.

Announcing the new resumption date for public schools in the state, Governor Babangida Aliyu said the state government took into account the forthcoming Eid-el Kabir Muslim festival expected to hold worldwide in the first week of October.

The federal government had shifted the resumption date for all private and public schools in the country to Monday September 22nd, 2014 as a result of the recent outbreak of the Ebola Virus Disease in some states of the federation.
