John O'Shea undergoes medical at Sunderland

Irish international and Manchester United defender, John O'Shea, is undergoing a medical at Sunderland, according to Press Association Sport.

The news agency reported the 30-year-old travelled to Wearside on Thursday morning to undergo a medical at the club.

The Black Cats had bid close to £9m for O'Shea.
