Dragnet Solutions is recruiting for the following positions in Agbara, Ogun State.

Our Client, a Fast Moving Goods Company that has been operating in Nigeria for over 40 years seeks to recruit the following.

.

Primary Job responsibility: – Work with production engineer to ensure that the Quality norms are followed.

.

Job Description: – Check the dimensions of Slit coils, tubes and purlins using micrometer and Vernier calipers and meter tapes – Put on hold products which do not meet the specifications – Audit measurement of weight of products for their conformance to standards – Report results to the Quality in charge for further actions like re work, reject – Ensure that the correct tags are put on the products being manufactured – Plan for the necessary tools and devices so that the above job can be performed satisfactorily – Understand the tags put on the products like HR coils & CR coils.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications & Experience: – A Diploma / Engineer with a science back ground  who has worked in a metal forming industry like Tubes, Purlin, Cable tray for a minimum period of 2 years – Must be able to understand the measuring instruments for errors, calibration, least count – Hands on experience is essential – Must be able to read quality standards.
