The Client Development Manager will function as a key strategist and portfolio manager for clients’ business. This position will drive contract portfolio growth, business entrenchment and customer satisfaction. Overall, the manager will be responsible for researching industry trends, opportunities and real needs, and ensuring that customized solutions are delivered to clients within their sector resulting in greater efficiency and profitability for the company.

Responsibilities:

Focused Customer Relationship Management:

o Builds relationships with clients and expands/develops connection points in other areas to identify new business leads and up sell Ashford & McGuire business solutions.

o Develops and maintains positive customer relations in assigned area of responsibility/sector.

o Leads effort to maximize satisfaction, retention and reference ability of clients.

o Resolves conflicts involving scheduling, resources, or technical issues

o Works with Design & Implementation team to provide excellent product delivery, customer support and satisfaction.

o Creates a strategic vision and assesses method for client to achieve future state; recognizing patterns within customer issues and recommending solutions

o Listen to the voice of customer ad provides input to Design & Implementation Team regarding new product ideas and ideas for enhancement.

o Maintain history of contacts of client(s)

Build & Deliver Client Communication Plans:

o Leads and delivers monthly, quarterly and annual meetings for business review, knowledge sessions and executive reviews

o Builds communication plans for accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

o Communicates pricing, proposals, negotiates the terms and conditions of the sale, closes the final sale

Industry/Business Knowledge:

o Public sector expertise to act as a resource within team

o Brings in the information and updates from clients as regards specific needs and industry trends.

o Attends industry conferences and symposiums to grow training

.

Qualifications:

Education: – Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business management – Post-graduate/professional qualification is an advantage

.

Skills: – Presentation skills are compulsory – Business Planning & Development – Client Relationship & Management – Business to Business Selling – Services and Conceptual Products Marketing and Sales

Industry Research – Presentation Skills

.

Experience: – Management consulting, Service sales – Team management experience with direct and indirect reporting structures – 7-10 years post NYSC.
