Information To All EBSU Graduating Students On Convocation

The Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki wishes to notify all graduating students of the institution that the 4th-6th  Convocation Ceremony of the  Universitywill hold on Saturday, 25th April, 2015.

Accordingly, graduands are required to approach their Faculty Officers with appropriate evidence of fees paid as in i-v below for collection of convocation gowns and other convocation materials from Tuesday, 21st April, 2015:
i) Diploma Graduates – N11,000.00 (Diploma gown is without hood)
ii) First Degree Graduates – N12,000.00
iii) PGD Graduates – N14,000.00 (PGD gown is without hood)
iv) Masters Graduates – N16,000.00
v) Ph.D Graduates – N20,000.00 (plus N20,000.00 for those interested in outright purchase of customized EBSU Ph.D gown).

NB: Payments for the Convocation gowns/materials can be made in either of the following EBSU Bank Accounts:
(1) EBSU Micro FINANCE Bank, Abakaliki, A/c No.: 3351000006.
(2) Diamond Bank PLC, Abakaliki, A/c No.: 0007909871.

To ensure security of the gowns, Faculty Officers are hereby directed to collect from graduands and keep, originals of statement of Degree results, receipts of payment for the convocation gowns/materials to be reclaimed on return of the gowns, latest by close of work on Tuesday, 28th April, 2015; beyond which time late return shall attract a fine of N5,000.00 per gown per day.

All staff and students of the University are by this notice directed to participate fully in all the relevant convocation activities, except those restricted by invitation.
