An indigenous oil and gas company with substantial interest in a deepwater field is seeking to recruit qualified candidates to fill the positions above.

.

Key Job Responsibilities: – Assist with maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment in the Plant area to which assigned. – Assist with maintenance records, technical reports and interpreting technical drawings and manuals. – Participates in the planning and

implementation of routine, preventive and planned maintenance programs. – Participates in a variety of maintenance, overhaul and repair of mechanical equipment in assigned area. – Understanding and applying Safe Practices in an offshore environment. – Participates in the inspection and testing of completed work. – Assist with carrying out a variety of regular routine, major and auxiliary machine vibration monitoring checks and analysis. – Assist with ensuring that company regulations relating to safety and work permits are observed. – Performs other similar or related duties as assigned.

Skills: – Must have very good inter-personal and communication skills. – Computer literate in Microsoft suite. – Ability to read P&IDs and schematics will be an added advantage. – Successful candidate will be required to undergo a twelve month intensive vocational training and additional twelve monthson-the-job training.

Required Qualifications: – National Diploma (OND) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering. – 3-5 years post NYSC relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
