Ghana Friendly Match: NFF, Siasia disagree over Okoronkwo

The Nigeria Football Federation Technical Committee has disagreed with the Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia, over the inclusion of Solomon Okoronkwo in the squad to face Ghana in London on August 9.

Siasia wants Okoronkwo, Aalesund of Denmark forward, to take Ahmed Musa's place in the squad for the friendly clash but the NFF Technical Committee has disagreed.

Musa has been included in the Flying Eagles squad for the FIFA Under-20 World Cup taking place in Colombia this month by coach John Obuh, which makes the player unavailable for the London game.

According to KickOffNigeria.com source, NFF does not believe Okoronkwo is good enough for a place in the squad, having disappointed in the past. They preferred that an home based player be selected instead.

But Siasia is holding his ground on the inclusion of Player (Okoronkwo).

The squad will report to camp in London on August 6.
