The Court of Appeal sitting in Enugu has removed Joy Emordi of the PDP as senator representing Anambra North senatorial zone and declared Alphonsus Igbeke of the ANPP the winner. Emordi has just 14 months to complete her tenure as senator which she assumed following the general election of April 28, 2007.
